Jameson Resources Ltd. [ASX:JAL] - Steve van Barneveld Appointed Director

� With the advancement of the Crown Mountain and Dunlevy projects, the Board of Directors has elected to appoint Steve van Barneveld as a Non-Executive Director.
� Steve is a resource sector Executive with an engineering background and extensive coal industry experience, particularly in the areas of coal quality, processing, infrastructure construction, and operations.
� Steve will bring tremendous value to Jameson and provide a fresh insight to the Crown Mountain Prefeasibility Study.
� Additionally, Steve�s extensive experience in investor relations, together with his strong project development understanding, and Queensland location, will provide enhanced access for investors.

Jameson Resources Ltd (ASX: JAL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve van Barneveld as Non-Executive Director. Mr. Barneveld was nominated by the Board on February 21 after an extensive search. Steve�s appointment fills a vacancy created by last year�s departure of John Holmes.

Mr. van Barneveld has 29 years of experience in the mining industry, a significant portion of which was spent with Sedgman Limited, leading international designer and builder of coal handling and processing plants.

The appointment is effective 1 March 2014.
