GOLD WORLD RESOURCES REPORTS ON INITIAL ASSAY RESULTS FROM THE “47-TRENCH”

Press Release Gold World Resources reports on initial assay results from the 47-Trench TORONTO, August 18, 2011 Gold World Resources Inc.

(TSXV:GDW) or (the "Company") is pleased to report the results of assays completed by Acme Analytical Laboratories (Vancouver) Ltd.

(Acme) on subsamples taken by Dr.

Quentin Gall* for assay check purposes from each of the 11 tubs used to ship the approximately 1,000-lb sample from the "forty-seven trench" ("47-Tr") area of the Mount Anderson Yukon gold/silver, polymetallic Project.

The bulk sample was shipped to the SGS Metallurgical Laboratory in Burnaby (SGS) (see news release of 20 July 2011). figure1
The mathematical calculated grade results of the 11 subsamples from 47-Tr compare well with the samples collected during the 2008/2009 work, performed and reported in the Assessment Reports by the vendor of the property shown below: figure2 In 1947, Keno Hill Mines Ltd sent a test shipment of ore from the forty-seven zone to the Trail smelter.

This shipment was reported to have averaged 34.3 g/t Au, 432.0 g/t Ag 11.6% Pb and 5.2% Zn per ton.

The following table shows assay results on samples collected by project geologist Dr.

Quentin Gall, andprospector Wesley Keats, of Keats Global Exploration (Keats) from sulphide-bearing quartz veiningdiscovered to the west and along strike (see news release of 7 July 2011) of the 47-Tr vein as well as samples collected by Dallas Davis, P.Eng., Interim, Consultant V.P.

Exploration*, from the Adnac trench, located 520 metres to the east and on strike with the Keats and 47-Tr sample sites.

figure3 At the Acme Lab, these samples from the Mt A property were crushed to 80% passing 10 mesh, split to 250g and pulverized to 85% passing 200 mesh.

A 0.25g split was heated in HNO3-HClO4-HF to fuming and taken to dryness.

The residue was dissolved in HCl.

Solutions were analysed by ICP-MS.

In the case of elements for which results exceeded the upper detection limit by this method (200 ppm or g/t for Au and Ag; 10000 ppm or 1.0% for Cu, Pb and Zn; and, 4000 ppm or 0.4% for Cd and Sb), Ag was determined by subjecting a 30 g portion to lead collection fire assay fusion with gravimetric finish, and, percentages of Cu, Pb and Zn were determined by employing a 4 Acid digestion followed by ICP-ES analysis.
