Riversdale Mining [ASX: RIV] - Key Appointments in South Africa and Mozambique

Riversdale Mining Limited (ASX: RIV) is pleased to advise that the company has made several new appointments to its senior executive team in South Africa and Mozambique.

The latest round of appointments include the company bolstering the ranks of its senior management team through the appointment of General Managers for mining operations in both South Africa and Mozambique.

In Mozambique, Riversdale Mining has appointed Mr Leon Fanoe as General Manager as the company�s hard coking and thermal coal operations at the world class Benga Coal Project move towards first production.

He will be based in Tete.

In South Africa, the company has also appointed Mr Hardus Combrink as General Manager at Riversdale Mining�s Zululand Anthracite Colliery.

He will be based in
Zululand.

Mr Combrink and Mr Fanoe will report to the Chief Operating Officer (Africa) Mr Andries Engelbrecht.

To provide for increasing sales from its current mine operations in South Africa and to commence preparation for the sale of future production of hard coking and thermal coal from the Benga Coal Project in Mozambique, the company has appointed its first Mozambican-born Group Marketing Manager, Mr Ricky Pinheiro as Group Marketing Manager.

Mr Pinheiro will be based in Johannesburg and has a mandate to develop the company�s coal marketing capabilities in domestic and international markets.
