Ø Cast iron output in Q3 2009 exceeded the pre-crisis level and amounted to 2,326 thousand tons, which is 2.2% higher y-o-y Ø Finished steel products output grew by 36% in Q3 2009 q-o-q and amounted to 2,601 thousand tons, while crude steel output increased by 31%.

The output level achieved is the highest for the last 12 months period. Ø HVA products output in Q3 2009 went up by 29% q-o-q and equaled to 375 thousand tons. Ø Galvanized steel and colour-coated steel output amounted to 177 and 68 thousand tons accordingly in Q3 2009, which is higher by 50% and 48% q-o-q and higher by 25% and 58% y-o-y.

Ø Increased HVA products output is due to commissioning of Hot Dip Galvanizing Line №2 in July 2008 and Colour Coating Line №2 in July 2009. Ø HVA products output (including thick plate, CRC and downstream products) stood at 735 thousand tons in Q3 2009, which is 29% higher than Q2 2009 results and is at the level of Q3 2008 results. Ø Mill 5000 thick plate output amounted to 29 thousand tons in Q3 2009. Ø HVA products accounted for 28% of the production portfolio in Q3 2009.
