RAM TO ACQUIRE MOTZFELDT TANTALUM-NIOBIUM PROJECT IN SOUTHERN GREENLAND

RAM Resources Limited ASX Announcement 17 March 2010 RAM TO ACQUIRE MOTZFELDT PROJECT IN SOUTHERN GREENLAND Potentially host to a world class bulk tonnage Tantalum-Niobium deposit HIGHLIGHTS - Ram agrees to acquire Motzfeldt multi-element project in Southern Greenland. - Motzfeldt Project has the potential to become a world class bulk tonnage tantalum and niobium deposit, with additional potential value add from rare earth credits, though further exploration work is required to define a JORC resource. - Exploration Target based on a GEUS estimate of 200-500 million tonnes at an average grade of 1000-1,400 ppm Nb and 100-120 ppm Ta with potential to outline internal higher-grade zones at Anomaly 4 and 5.

However there is currently insufficient information to define a Mineral Resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the determination of a Mineral Resource and potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature. - Multi-element focus, with potential production of a number of mineral products, including tantalum, niobium, feldspar, zirconium, and rare earth oxides. - Identification of five major radiometric anomalies, occurring over a strike length of 7 kilometres, of which only one, Anomaly 4, has been drilled. - Diamond drilling on Anomaly 4 returned Ta and Nb from surface, with best results of 630 ppm Ta205 from 18 metres and 7,800 ppm Nb2O5 from 28 metres. - Preliminary metallurgical and engineering scoping studies completed in 2002 concluded that there were "no fatal flaws" in the Motzfeldt Project. - Aggressive first year exploration programme planned, with Ram intending to drill existing targets in the 2010 field season. - SRK Exploration Services Limited appointed as technical consultants to conduct due diligence and prepare an exploration programme for the 2010 field season. Australian resources company Ram Resources Limited (ASX: RMR) ("Ram" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") to acquire up to 100% of the issued capital of Greenland Resources Limited ("GRL"), a UK Company which holds the Motzfeldt multi-element project located in the Gardar Province of Southern Greenland ("Motzfeldt Project") (Refer Figures 1 and 2). Pursuant to the MOU, which is subject to the satisfactory completion of due diligence enquiries by Ram by 30 April 2010 and the other conditions precedent set out in Appendix 1, Ram will acquire up to 100% of the issued capital of GRL in several stages.

A summary of the terms and conditions of the MOU is set out in Appendix 1.

Shareholder approval will be sought for the transaction and the Company will provide a notice of meeting in due course. The Motzfeldt Project is a multi-element style deposit that is primarily being targeted for tantalum (Ta), niobium (Nb), and rare earth elements (REE), though zircon, uranium and thorium are also present in the mineralised zone.
