High Grade Gold Discovery at Wa Project

Castle Minerals Limited (ASX:CDT) is pleased to announce that recent drill testing of a soil geochemical anomaly at the Companys Wa Project has intersected a new high grade gold vein.

RC drilling intersected primary gold mineralisation assaying 9m @ 22.1g/t gold from a zone of pyritic vein quartz.

This is the highest tenor drill result reported by Castle and being a primary (non oxide) intercept provides considerable promise that extensions to this high grade system will be defined.

Castles Managing Director, Mr Mike Ivey, said "this is a very significant intercept and confirms that multiple high grade laminated vein systems are present within our Wa Project.

We now have a model for where and why they occur which is consistent with our geochemical results and geophysical interpretation giving us confidence that we will discover more veins in the district.

We have numerous targets awaiting testing that stretch over a distance of some 30 kilometres" Ivey said.
