NORICUM GOLD: BONANZA GRADE GOLD RETURNED FROM DRILLING AT 100% OWNED ROTGULDEN
GOLD PROJECT IN AUSTRIA

Noricum Gold Limited / EPIC: NMG / Sector: Natural Resources 16 September 2013 Noricum Gold Limited (‘Noricum Gold or ‘the Company) High Grade Initial Drilling Results from Rotgülden Gold and Precious Metals Project, Austria Noricum Gold Limited, the Austrian focused gold exploration and development Company, is pleased to announce significant high grade gold (‘Au’) and silver (‘Ag’) mineralisation from the first drill hole to be assayed as part of the 1,300 metre underground drill programme at the Company’s 100% owned Rotgulden Gold and Precious Metals Project (‘Rotgulden’). Highlights
· Significant gold and silver mineralisation from the first drill hole RZ 4, drilled to 57m, included: o 6m @ 17.4 g/t Au and 27.8 g/t Ag from 9m o 2m @ 41.4 g/t Au and 198 g/t Ag as well as 3.96% copper (‘Cu’) from 20m · Similar mineralisation (including massive sulphide, stock-work and chalcopyrite) evident in the other four holes drilled from the RZ position, with further results to be announced in due course · Results reinforce the Company’s belief that it is operating in a significant high grade gold and multi-element province Noricum Gold Managing Director Greg Kuenzel said, “These bonanza grade intercepts are a tremendous start to our underground drill programme.

The first, 6 metres at 17 g/t gold, intercepted a target identified from our previous geophysics programmes.

This again reaffirms our belief in the use of geophysics as an effective exploration tool in this area.

The second intercept, 2 metres at over an ounce of gold alongside over 6 ounces of silver and almost 4% copper appears to be a new type of mineralisation previously unseen at Rotgulden.

With the subsequent drill holes including similar types of mineralisation, we look forward to providing further updates over the coming weeks.” Further Information Noricum Gold commenced the 15 hole, 1,300m underground drill programme in August 2013.

It was designed to define areas of massive sulphide mineralisation, at the historic mine target area of Rotgulden, that have been detected by electromagnetic programmes, geological mapping and sampling in the areas just above the main level to depths of around 50 to 100m. Drilling at the Rotgulden underground mine is continuing with holes from the RZ position now completed.

All holes from RZ encountered significant mineralisation which included both disseminated and massive sulphides found in every hole.
