GOLDPLAT - DIRECTOR CHANGE



Goldplat plc / Ticker: GDP / Index: AIM / Sector: Mining & Exploration 16 September 2013 Goldplat plc (Goldplat or the Company) Director Change Goldplat plc, the AIM listed gold producer in Africa, announces that Russell Lamming has stepped down from his position as CEO and that Ian Visagie will take over in the interim with immediate effect.

Mr Lamming will enter into a six month Consulting Agreement to provide his services to the Company ensuring continuity and an orderly handover. Mr.

Visagie, in his capacity as Financial Director since the Companys admission to AIM in July 2006, has been instrumental in the growth of Goldplat and is well suited to lead the Company in the interim.

The Company is now seeking to find a South African based CEO, which will be ideally suited geographically to guide the African focussed gold company through the next phase of its evolution, as it looks to build its market leading gold recovery position in Africa. The Company would like to thank Russell for his time and efforts over the past 12 months in shaping the Company for future growth.
