Triton Gold [ASX: TON] - Mozambique Exploration Commences

Triton Gold Limited (ASX: TON) has engaged Perth based geological service provider, Jigsaw Geoscience Pty Ltd to commence the first phase of the Company�s graphite exploration program at both the Ancuabe and Balama prospects in Mozambique.

Jigsaw has been engaged to assist Triton with the initial mapping, soil sampling and trenching program, with an initial emphasis on the North Balama license and with partial focus on the high priority zones, as previously identified and highlighted in Figure 1 of the attached announcement.

Jigsaw is due to commence work shortly at the North Balama license and should be in the field by mid to late March 2013.

The results from this initial exploration program will enable the Company to better understand the underlying geological structure and prospectively of the project. This essential information collected during this first phase, will provide the necessary knowledge to enable the Company to further refine and categorise anomalous zones. It will subsequently help in the planning and execution of the drilling program which is due to commence later this year.
