Triton Gold [ASX: TON] - Triton (ASX: TON) Share Purchase Plan and Capital Placement

Triton Gold Limited (ASX: TON) has arranged a placement of 10 million shares at five cents per share to raise approximately $500,000 to sophisticated and professional investors in Australia and internationally.

The Placement received strong support from an existing major shareholders and a new cornerstone investor. The Placement was co-ordinated through Merchant Capital Markets as lead Broker to the Offer and supported by Patersons as Corporate Advisors.

Triton is also pleased to announce an offer to existing shareholders to participate in a Company Share Purchase Plan with the aim to raise up to $1,500,000 additional funds for the continued advancement of the Company�s key Graphite project in the Cabo Delgado Province of Mozambique and for the assessment of new investment opportunities and to supplement working capital.

Triton Managing Director Brad Boyle said that �The Company is very pleased at the strong support received under the Placement and the funds raised through the Placement and SPP will allow Triton to advance the initial work programs in Mozambique, which will include regional mapping, trenching and surveying and to undertake the preliminary drilling program later in the year, to test the identified anomalous zones.�
