Stocks and commodities appear set to take a breather this morning after posting decent gains during the past 3 days (compressed into 2 for Canada thanks to our holiday). European stocks are lower and futures are pointed to an open in the red. On a positive note, thanks to more earnings surprises the Q2 earnings growth for the S&P 500 has crept back into positive territory. Still 60 companies to go.
