The Latest From The European Gold Centre...

MINING IN AFRICA a publication of E U R O P E A N G O L D C E N T R E Dear reader, Attached you will find your November issue of MINING IN AFRICA.

It comes to you on the day that steaming gold price tapered off a bit after almost hitting the $1,200 level yesterday.

In my view this dip will be only healthy although it will certainly be welcome food for those that have been misunderstanding the strength of the gold market.

I think it will not stop gold from following its own path to higher levels in the next few months. The search for metals will go on and where it will go on more than in Africa? It will be very fascinating to follow the developments and they undoubtedly can be an excellent opportunity to achieve above average investment results. In my Editorial Comment I do some philosophizing on what this exciting future should bring in political sense, the challenges are big and require proper handling by the African governments.

Are they ready for it........? In any case, I remain very positive about the potential of Africa and hence, I gave my forthcoming presentation at the Investing in African Mining Seminar in London the title "International Investors Should Join The New Rush For Africas Natural Resources". In this issue, two HIGHLIGHTED COMPANIES that I find both interesting, each for their own reasons: Crew Gold and Niger Uranium. And a contributed article with the views from someone that has no or little connection with the mining business.

Read "Africa Remains an Exciting Investment Opportunity" by Richard Laing, CEO of the CDC Group. Of course, there are also the usual items NEWS SUPPORTING COMPANIES, Africa Mining in the News and EVENTS ON AFRICA. Interesting reading material to spend your coming weekend well! Best regards, Henk J.

Krasenberg.
