Fortbridge Media ReleaseInternational Coal Limited [ASX: ICX] - Quarterly Activities Report March 2012International Coal Limited (ASX: ICX) has released its March 2012 quarterly activities report which reviews the Companys first quarter exploration activities.
HIGHLIGHTS:
International Coal concludes first phase drilling programme at South Blackall with over 2,400 metres of rotary and core drilling successfully completed.
ICX publishes maiden JORC resource of over 700Mt of thermal coal from EPC 2197 at South Blackall. Further technical results are to be released when available.
JORC resource at EPC2197 achieved over less than 15% of the tenements area - ICX is now developing a plan to continue drilling and substantially increase this resource.
ICX is ready to drill at Bundaberg (EPC 2194) following the conclusion of landowner compensation agreements and the development of a comprehensive Exploration Programme.
Discussions are continuing with other parties to expand the companys asset base and diversify its extensive interests.
ICX representatives hold discussions in China and Hong Kong regarding project and infrastructure development for its Queensland projects.
ICX, in conjunction with potential development partners, plans to commence a Concept Study for its massive landholding at South Blackall.
