Maximum overburden thickness is only 1.3 metres.
Lake Purdilla is South Australias largest undeveloped gypsum deposit, located in close proximity to the Companys Poochera kaolin deposits.
Lake Purdilla Gypsum is crystalline in form, of high quality and suitable for use by the building materials industry (plasterboard and cement) and for agricultural applications (soil improver and conditioner).
