Good morning, Please see below a morning note from Fairfax regarding North River Resources (AIM: NRRP) following the Companys announcement this morning that it has completed the payment of subscription monies and as a result received shares in Brandberg Energy.

NRR Energy Minerals Ltd (North Rivers 100% owned subsidiary) now holds a 50% interest in Brandberg Energy which holds Exclusive Prospecting Licences for nuclear fuel in Namibia. North River Resources* (NRRP LN) 1.7p Mkt Cap �11.9m - Update on Nuclear Fuels Agreement * The company has announced that it has completed the payment of subscription monies and as result received shares in Brandberg Energy. * The deal means that NRR Energy Minerals Ltd, the 100% owned subsidiary of North River now holds a 50% interest in Brandberg Energy, on the back of the payment of $800,000. * Brandberg Energy holds Exclusive Prospecting Licences (EPL) for nuclear fuel at 3327 and 3328. * The licences are located near the old tin mining town of Uis in northwest Namibia. * The company have identified two nuclear fuel targets over EPL 3327 and EPL 3328 following completion of a horizontal loop electromagnetic (HLEM) survey over 200 line km - 150 km over 3327 and 50 km over 3328. * The HLEM traverse lines were surveyed over 2 km initially and then reduced to 1 km to identify buried palaeochannels through an electromagnetic response. * The most promising target areas identified using this methodology has been on EPL 3327. * A previously planned drilling campaign of 1,100m may now be extended to 1,500-2,000m once the Radiation management plan has been approved by the Radiation Protection Authority in Namibia. Conclusion - This is another step in the right direction for the company.

Brandberg Energy was established by Extract Resources Limited (Extract) for the purpose of holding Exclusive Prospecting Licences (EPLs) 3327 and 3328. In accordance with the terms of the joint venture agreement, NRR Energy Minerals Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of North River, has now acquired a 50% interest in the issued shares of Brandberg Energy following the payment of $800,000 by North River to Brandberg Energy. Brandberg Energy intends to complete a 1,100 metre drill programme planned by Extract.

This programme will be reviewed by Brandberg Energy now additional funds are available and may be increased to a total of 1,500-2,000 metres.

Drilling will commence once the Radiation Management Plan (RMP) is approved by the National Radiation Protection Authority in Namibia.

The RMP was submitted by Extract in mid-November 2011.
