NOTICE TO THE MARKETRio de Janeiro,�November 17, 2009, - BRASIL ECODIESEL IND�STRIA E COM�RCIO DE BIOCOMBUST�VEIS E �LEOS VEGETAIS S.A., ("Company"), a publicly held company with head offices located in the city and state of Rio de Janeiro at Praia de Botafogo, n� 501, Bloco II, Sala 701-B1, Centro Empresarial Mourisco, CEP 22250-040, with shares traded on the S�o Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) under the stock symbol ECOD3, announces that in the 16th Biodiesel Auction organized by the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuel Agency (ANP) for deliveries in the first quarter of 2010 that was held on todays date, it successfully sold 65,364 m� of biodiesel at an average price of R$ 2,340.65 per m�, which represents an increase in volume of 14.7% and an increase in average price of 2.3% in relation to the previous auction.
