Hodges Resources (ASX: HDG) reports on the quarter ended 30 June 2011.

Highlights:

* $8 million capital raised in April and May 2011.
* Hodges executed two definitive acquisition agreements on the Morupule South and Moiyabana Coal Projects in Botswana.
* Increase in the Moiyabana Coal Exploration Target estimate to between 1,400Mt and 1,650Mt.
* 4 drill rigs on site as resource definition drilling commences at Moiyabana Coal Project.
* Initial drilling reveals significant intercepts of coal at shallow depths.
