News Release Monday, June 13, 2011 Troymet Completes Phase I Exploration on Key Project June 13, 2011 - Troymet Exploration Corp.

(TSXV:TYE) ("Troymet" or the "Company") reports that it has completed the first phase of the 2011 soil sampling program on its 100% owned (8,854 ha) Key project in British Columbia.

Additional sampling is planned when higher elevations are free of snow and accessible.

The recently completed soil sampling program targeted the eastern side of the property, along the East Fault, and within and along a prominent aeromagnetic feature which appears to extend as far as the adjacent Blackwater-Davidson gold deposit of New Gold Inc.

The Key property is strategically located between the Blackwater-Davidson gold deposit and the 3Ts gold-silver deposit (Silver Quest Resources Ltd.).

The 2011 winter reconnaissance drill program, the first ever on the Key property, identified porphyry style mineralization associated with a large magnetic complex in the area of Good News Lake.

Approximately 25% of the magnetic complex is covered by the Companys VTEM survey.

Its full extent is likely a circular 4- to 5-km body including a 1-km diameter magnetic low which appears to be the focus of the porphyry mineralization.

Further drilling is required to determine if a viable copper-molybdenum deposit is present.

Troymet believes additional mineralization, and possibly different styles of mineralization, may be found in the area between the porphyry target and the Blackwater-Davidson deposit.

A number of drill targets have already been identified in this area (area of Tsacha Mt.) but these were inaccessible during the winter program due to terrain and weather.

These, and any new targets identified by soil sampling and geophysics, will be tested when drilling resumes. To date, less than a third of the property has been explored in any detail.

Outcrop is sparse and limited to the peaks and ridges.

As a consequence soil geochemistry and geophysics are important exploration tools. Troymet believes the Key project has significant discovery potential.

The property covers a number of geological sequences all of which host important gold +/- silver mineralization in the adjacent Blackwater-Davidson, 3Ts and Capoose deposits.

Exploration on the Key project is at a very early stage.

To date, exploration activities and expenditures are small in comparison to other flanking projects where significant discoveries have been made. Samples are being analyzed at ALS Chemex, Vancouver, BC, an ISO 9001:2000 accredited facility.
