Mezhdurechensk, 5 April 2011 - ��� Raspadskaya (RTS, MICEX: RASP) ("Raspadskaya" or "the Company") informs of the accident at Raspadskaya-Koksovaya Mine on 4 April 2011 - there was a destruction of stoppings, isolating the worked out room of the Mine (room and pillar extraction method).

At the time of the accident there were 204 people in the Mine that were successfully evacuated.

There were no injured miners as a result of the accident. Operations at the Mine are temporarily suspended until the investigation of the causes of the accident is complete.

As at 8pm MSK April 4, 2011 the situation at Raspadskaya-Koksovaya Mine stabilized, all indicators of the gas regime are within normal limits.
