Rey Resources lodges Mining Lease Application for Duchess Paradise
Rey Resources Limited (ASX: REY; “Rey Resources”) is pleased to
announce it has lodged a Mining Lease Application (MLA) with the
Department of Mines and Petroleum in Western Australia.
The MLA seeks to convert parts of two Exploration Permits, which
include sections of the previously reported Duchess Paradise thermal
coal resource and its possible extensions, into a Mining Lease as
part of the potential Duchess Paradise project in the Canning Basin.
The MLA process will be progressed in parallel with consultations and
negotiations with relevant stakeholders and preparations for
potential mine development and operations, subject to all required
project approvals.
Rey Resources’ Definitive Feasibility Study on the potential
Duchess Paradise project is on schedule for completion at the end of
the second quarter, 2011.
