Australia Minerals & Mining Group ASX Announcement / Media Release 12 January 2011 APPOINTMENT OF MR PIERS LEWIS AS COMPANY SECRETARY AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER Australia Minerals and Mining Group Ltd (ASX:AKA) ("AMMG" or The Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Piers Lewis as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective immediately.

Piers Lewis is a Chartered Accountant with 13 years corporate experience. He has held executive and senior management positions in Australia and London.

Currently, Piers is the Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer with several ASX listed resources companies.

Mr Lewis replaces Mr Robert (Sam) Middlemas, who has stepped down as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer to pursue other business interests.

Mr Middlemas has been with the Company since listing on the ASX in 2010.

The Board would like to thank Mr Middlemas for his significant contribution to the Company, particularly through the formative stages, and the Board would like to wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
