RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR Australian resources company Bauxite Resources Limited (ASX: BAU) ("BRL" or "the Company") announces the resignation of Mr David McSweeney as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective from 5 January 2011. David McSweeney has been a Non-Executive Director with BRL since 2008.

His decision to retire is due to extensive and ongoing business commitments. BRLs Chairman, Mr Barry Carbon, commented, "David has been an integral board member over the past 2 years and has made a significant contribution to the growth of Bauxite Resources in that time.
