Derek Tullett and Wayne Lochner to join the board of LHKX Capital AG Zurich.

17th December 2010, LHKX Capital AG announces that Derek Tullett CBE Hon DSc and Wayne Lochner will join LHKX Capital AG’s board of directors.

The appointments are subject to approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be convened in January 2011.

City of London veteran, Derek Tullett brings a unique background as an outstanding leader and entrepreneur in the international brokerage industry.

From 1971 to 2006, Mr Tullett oversaw his brokerage firm grow from small beginnings as Tullett & Riley to global status as second largest brokerage in the world as Tullett & Tokyo Liberty.

As Executive Chairman of LHKX PLC, Mr Tullett is heavily involved in guiding the LHKX Group’s strategic development and his wealth of experience across in the international brokerage industry is invaluable in helping the LHKX Group to redefine the trading and investment products made available to the individual trader and retail investor.

Mr Tullett will help the LHKX Capital AG leadership team to deliver an efficient, effective and profitable proposition with a strong focus on the needs of the professional investor.

Wayne Lochner is CEO for LHKX PLC and has over 20 years experience in managing trading operations in the Middle East and Far East and from 1995 has built up a wide experience as a serial entrepreneur across technology, financial brokerage and sports trading.

Mr Lochner started his career with 20 years working and managing brokerage trading floors in almost every major financial centre throughout the Middle East and Asia with the majority of this time spent in Japan and Hong Kong.

Mr Lochner returned to London in 1995, and founded Affinity Internet Holdings Plc, which changed the way internet access, home telephony and mobiles were promoted to consumers through ’branded’ services utilised by 440 major brands across the UK.

In 2003 he founded Betbrokers Plc, bringing together sports betting and financial trading offering brokerage and clearing to wholesale clients such as bookmakers, football club owners, financial traders and major sports bettors.

Mr Lochner was awarded the Ernst & Young ‘London’s E-Business Entrepreneur of the Year’ in June 2000.
