London, 18 October 2010; Ascot Mining Plc (PLUS: ASMP, Xetra®: AM3.DE), announces the tripling of milling capacity at the Company’s Chassoul Gold project in Costa Rica to 150 tpd. Following a 14 day commissioning period, Gold production is targeted to reach 1,200 ounces per month with further increases planned through delivery of supplementary ore from the Company’s other nearby mines. Ascot continues its discussions with Mineral Hill Industries (MHI) toward concluding a final agreement on a business combination that will quickly expand its portfolio of exploration and development projects and broaden its management team.
